Mr Vukani Maki

Mr. Maki is the founder of the Maki Foundation. Vukani is a public speaker, graphic designer, marketing consultant, author of three books, businessman and an accountant by profession.

He was born on 25 December 1984, matriculated in 2001 with one distinction and 75% in Accounting. He received a full academic bursary from Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants (Johannesburg) to study BCom Accounting and honours. He holds a BCom Accounting degree from UCT; a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Accounting (NFQ 8) from UNISA with a distinction in Corporate Financial Reporting and is currently studying Masters in Business Administration where he has completed his first year with five distinctions in his final examinations.

Mr Azile Silwana

Director

Mr. Silwana was born on 3 November 1993 in Queenstown. He matriculated in 2012 with 79% in Mathematics and 75% in Physical Sciences and completed his Electrical and Computer Engineering qualification in November 2017 and has an exceptional academic record at UCT with three distinctions in his first year and two distinctions in his final year. Azile is also gifted in drawing (having received 90% for engineering drawing in his first year). He has the ability to draw buildings in three dimensions which is a gift he has displayed from the time that he was in grade one.

Mr Xolisa Ninzi

Director

Xolisa Ninzi is a Mechanical Engineering Technician currently works at Eskom. He has also been a mechanic for the last 20 years and worked for Mercedes Benz (Ronnies Motors in East London) for 18 months prior to moving on to Eskom. He is a man of many talents and represented South Africa in track and field as an 800 metre athlete from 1999 up to 2003.
